We brainstormed and started with a module of autumn leaf representing the, mood of the season. This was further developed to broken into four pieces leaf module. This modular form that could very easily be repeated into multiple combinations was used on the facade, ceiling installation and graphics everywhere. A bright red shade to suppress the beige colours of facade was used so that the main entry stands out in whole 6 acre campus. Over a wall of scaffolding covering the entire existing façade the autumn leave created a huge mirage of leaves flowing from the center to edges. Some real innovative metal joinery details were worked out so that the hundreds of 4ft leaves are aligned precisely to giving the desired effect. Complimenting this were a series over stacked shipping containers with graffiti over them marking the entrance and punctuating the whole event. The artworks on the containers were a reference to the means of export and import in the early times on the silk route i.e Elephants flamingo, and horses.
